Pinetown Businesses - Mean To Clean

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend
GreenOffice has recently challenged other Pinetown and Durban businesses to donate an afternoon or even an hour of company time to take the responsibility of cleaning and greening the suburbs in which they operate in. This company would be delighted to hear from other businesses brave enough to rise up to this challenge and make a difference within their communities.

We challenge other companies in the greater Durban area to do something constructive to change our country rather than to sit back and complain, said Michelle De Nysschen, Social Responsibility Manager.

GreenOffice has two offices which consists of the head office in Durban and a branch in Johannesburg. This company focuses on the entire printing environment which includes consumables, service and maintenance, hardware and management software. Starting it one step at a time to create a better environment for all, green Office has initiated a cleaning and greening project.

True to our company slogan of Saving you the earth, green Office has established a strong campaign. We have started a staff volunteer project were our staff can nominate a charity or project of their choice and we will spend one work day either planting a vegetable garden or painting a school. However to kick this off we decided to start off with an afternoon rubbish pick-up project, said Social Responsibility Manager Michelle De Nyssschen.
