Choir to captivate audience

Having gained international recognition, the Connection Zulu Choir from Kwa Nuyswa will be performing at a special gala concert at Sarepta Church in Gillets next weekend.

Thw Choir, which is comprised of 35 members, have gained recognition in Australia, and have performed over 20 sell-out concerts to over 10,000 people.

Drakensberg Boys Headed For Hillcrest

Hillcrest recently secured the Drakensberg Boys’ Choir for a concert straight after their European tour.

This honour was sought after by many, but after the great success of last year’s concert, in association with Hillcrest KwikSpar this was awarded to the community.

The concert is in aid of three schools from the area, namely Hillcrest Christian Academy, Highbury & Winston Primary.

Drakensberg Boys’ Choir School is for male learners from grade 4 to9 and many of our South African stars have come from the world renowned school here on our doorstep.

It all happens on Friday 22 August 2008 at 7 pm in the HCF Auditorium. Tickets are R80 for adults and R30 for children under 12.
